Warner Bros Leads Predictions with 'Sinners' and 'One Battle After Another'

'Sinners' is topping the charts with 13 nomination predictions from users, but don't be surprised if the film slips in a couple categories as other contenders rise. Meanwhile, 'One Battle After Another' has more than doubled its predicted nomination tally since the effusive reviews poured in.

'Wicked: For Good' Hoping To Live Up To Predecessor's 10 Nominations

While sequels generally perform less well than their predecessors (see 'Dune: Part 2', 'LORT: The Two Towers'), 'Wicked: For Good' has the benefit of two potential original song nominations and a casting nomination this time around. Confidence remains in major categories like Best Picture and in both actress categories.

Other Contenders for Double Digit Nominations: 'Hamnet', 'Sentimental Value', 'Marty Supreme'

Chloe Zhao's 'Hamnet' boats not only exceptional crafts but two outstanding performances from 'Jessie Buckley' and 'Paul Mescal'. Zhao's masterful direction should also land her a nomination, making this a top-tier contender. 'Sentimental Value''s nomination count is carried largely by the potential for four acting nominations. This may prove difficult especially in the Supporting Actress category where 'Inga Ibsdotter Lileaas' and 'Elle Fanning' go head to head. Marty Supreme is predicted for seven nominations at this time, but wait for users to catch on. The reactions at the NYFF premiere are excellent and we could see this creep up in Score, Production Design, and Costumes.
